Neha Jain

Hi everyone! I’m Neha – MOM-entum’s Bollywood Fusion teacher! I’m a mom to a cute little boy (and loving it) and work in market research. I also love writing, singing, hiking – and dancing.

My Story

I started dancing when I was too young to remember – starting off with the classical South Asian dance, Bharatnatyam and competing both individually and with a dance group throughout my state in India. I slowly started to learn semi-classical/ folk / Bollywood dances and started competing in those styles as well.

When I moved to US in 4th grade, I started branching out into other styles and have now learned jazz, hip hop, lyrical, and flamenco in addition to my Indian classical/Bollywood roots. I started my own dance group in college, and we competed and won several local competitions and performed at college events. Most recently, my husband and I were learning bachata and tango pre-baby, and I started to learn Kathak while I was pregnant.

MOM-entum was an unexpected surprise, and I am so thrilled to have found a way to continue dancing and share something that I love to do with others – and also, get to make friends and form bonds with other moms. I have been having a blast getting to know the moms in this group and hope to meet more of you soon!

Head on over to our classes page and find out more about the different styles of classes we offer.
