MOM-entum is not your average dance troupe…we are a community of moms - run by moms for moms!  What does this mean? It means, yes, we offer classes at two studios in multiple genres, but what we have built together is so much more!  In a recent survey, members rated “social connection and community with other moms” as the most important aspect of being a part of MOM-entum.  We love to laugh and check-in with others during class. We also get together frequently outside of class for birthdays, spa days, karaoke nights, sporting events, playground meet-ups, social dancing, and even a cruise!

In order to keep our community open, welcoming, and accessible to mothers from all backgrounds, dance experience, economic brackets, and time commitments, we offer MOM-entum membership at a low, all-inclusive monthly membership fee.  Mothers can attend as many classes in as many genres, including short series and pop-up options, as they like (and their schedules and family lives allow!).

 

We have no paid staff - which means we run all on volunteer mom power. We also try to raise additional funds outside of membership fees whenever we can - we actively seek grants and donations and run several fundraisers throughout the year. So when you join, consider getting involved in the community. Think of it as a PTA but even better!
